would have expected better....

This product came damaged. One of the pins holding the counterbalance was broken. When I inquired of the possibility of a replacement piece, I was told that such a replacement piece was not possible. This unit had to be glued together to make it work at all. It is made of fairly cheesy plastic.... I would have expected better for the $. The design of the light is good but the materials are not up to the job.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Purchased This Light Fixture and Love it. This Light follows the Form follows Function concept and works great. The light moves to any position fairly easy because of the weighted type of base
