This is an attractive high quality lamp. Very substantial, excellent construction, provides good light for working or reading. An excellent choice particularly if desk space is limited.

This is a very well constructed, high quality solid and heavy lamp. The marble base does not show well in the picture, but is a nice dark brown and caramel swirl that matches well with many types of wood finish. The light shade is not easily rotated, it is functional in a downward projection only, which is what I was looking for. The weight is such that it is not going to be easily knocked over. This genuinely met all my needs.
