Great product and great deal since i got free shipping compared to $33 to ship!

This lamp has a receptable for the light bulb that is too big for this size lamp. Thusly when you yurn it on you have a lamp that looks like it has a burned out bulb on the right side. The lamp came assembled and the hole in the right side of the lamp where it fits on the base is way to big and does not have a quality look. Also, where the base actually screws onto the light bulb piece is not tight enough to press the base piece to actuall lamp globe, so you have an ugly open space between the base piece and the globe. This apparently keeps the unit frpom being tightened an so the globe keeps rotating down so you can't keep it level. Terrible piece of equipment.

I needed a new Banker's lamp for my office, and after a long search I found this site and saw just what I wanted. It came in perfect condition, and is just right for me. I use traditional 40 watt tubular bulbs that can be dimmed. I found one minor flaw that is probably just my eyesight or personal nature, but the reflection off the curved stem holding the globe was too bright, so I made a simple black cloth sleeve to cover it up with. I love the warm golden reflection off the rest of the polished brass, and it enhances the soft cozy decor I created for my home. I hope you never stop carrying this lamp and other items like it. Thank you!

This lamp is dated due to it's shiny brass finish. Not a good value.
