The perfect size for our 42" round kitchen table. The satin nickel finish is flawless and looks fairly rich. 60 Watt bulbs on a dimmer make this the perfect light. The glass bowl just fits the opening -- if a fraction smaller it would seem too small. The hooks of rods attached to the rim are not closed. If anyone knocks the light the rim could detach from the rods. We wired them to the eye part on rim for insurance. Would not be an issue if used in a foyer, but over a table is necessary. For the price and looks this is a good, stylish fixture.
