This product works like a charm. My electrician didn't think it would work with the wall switch being exactly the same, but it does! In this product there are two dipswitches in the wall switch that allow the remote to work as long as the wall unit is turned on. Thanks for a terrific product.

defective - like the 2 month old orginal remote

the remote didn't magically work any better a month after it arrived -= the remote replaced the first remote that 100% crapped within 2 months - the second remote mostly worked but the fan reverse button didn't work - the season is almost over - and replacing under warranty will be mean the fan cannot be used until then in addition to the two weeks it took to get the replacement - so I will worry about it later since the fan - luckily - is going a good direction for me

We got a new remote but our fan will still not do any speed other than high. Help please! A:If the fan was working on all speeds prior to getting the new remote, I'd have to say that you got a bad remote. If this is the case, we'll be happy to make an exchange for you. If the fan itself has issues and you purchased it from us less than 30 days again, we'd also be happy to get that exchanged for you. Please let us know what the circumstances are.

I have five MinkaAire fans in my new purchased home but only one remote left to me by the previous owner. How can I be sure that I purchase the right remotes so that I can program them to work all the fans in the home seperately. None of the pictures online look like my remote. A:it depends on the fan they have diffrent controls. She says call this # 1 800-221-7977 and ask for the technical department. Ric
