This fixture is one of a few for smaller houses/spaces. The finish is rich, the glass is as pictured, a little bit of a creamy/golden hue, nice looking close up and light bulbs don't show through yet light is very good, again as pictured. To change bulbs the entire glass bowl unscrews from the metal base; easy if you know how.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
