porch fans look and work great!

I got 2 of the 60" Dragonfly fans for my 600 sq ft screen porch. They are installed from a beam that crosses the porch from one end to the other. They look great and give the porch the airy feel that a screen porch should have. However, they are constructed of sturdy materials and the metal parts are heavy duty. We love the blades because they remind us of sails on a boat, and we sail a lot when not enjoying our new porch! I hope the canvas the blades are covered with will be moisture resistant and will perform just as well as a well-made sail. For now, we are very happy with the look and the performance.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • Q: Can this be installed flush mount without any down rods?

    A: This light cannot be directly mounted to the ceiling. You have to at least use the 3.5" downrod.
