Placed two of these fixtures on my garage. Have a basketball hoop and the design protects the glass and the bulb from damage from a stray ball. Nice looking also. Good price.

Excellent outdoor light. Comes with gaskets to ensure watertight seal. Heavy metal and glass construction. Black version conveys style and class. I bought 4 for my contemporary home. Every visitor thinks they cost a fortune and must be special order.

A very well made product that met all my requirments. I used 25wat CLF bulbs which work well with this fixture and which provides the lighting of a 100wat bulb.

I bought this as a replacement to an existing fixture for which the protective glass had broken, and the wiring had become brittle. Replacement was a snap, though I did not replace 100% of the fixture since the mounting from the original fixture was still in good condition.

Do these have a dusk-to-Dawn feature? A:These are not equiped with a dusk to dawn eye. Look for an "energy star" rated fixtur, they are required to have one to qualify for the "energy star" rating. Bonnie

Does this fixture cast light up and down or only up? A:The Access Lighting Poseidon Wet Location Bulkhead Outdoor Wall Light is completely enclosed. Primarily the light comes from the front. They did say a small amount of light will wash the wall top and bottom, but it will only reach about an inch. The fixture is closed so that it can be placed in wet locations and keep the water out.
