The lamp is somewhat top heavy. I have knocked it off the night stand 3 times and the glass shade breaks. If you are clumsy at all, I wouldn't suggest it.

Bedside lamps that look great, fit in with the decor and do not have a large footprint. These lamps fit in nicely with our renovation. The quality is exceptional. The stone shades give off a beautiful warm glow. We have them connected to a dimmer control and they create a lovely atmosphere when dimmed.
We were shipped a broken shade holder and a replacement part was sent promptly from the factory within a couple of days.
This manufacturer makes a very high quality product.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
