We ordered two lamps. I would have loved to see what the different colors look like but we got the frosted glass for the light our boys needed in their bedroom. The switch is located on the cord close to the base of the lamp and is very easy for our 5 year old and 3 year old to turn on and off. We just bought a space rocket ceiling fan and these lamps matched so perfectly!
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
