Light system looks terrific and was fairly simple to install. My only issue was shortening the cords for the pendent lights. It's extremely tedious and took me numerous attempts to get it working.

This product is not hard to install yourself, but the instructions are not fully fleshed out. Read them carefully and follow them especially the details regarding stripping wires and insulators.
Some consideration should be given to your desire to align the lamps prior to shaping the monorail. (i.e. if you care about whether they are all in line with each other or not it will effect the spacing and manner that you bend the monorail)
All in all a very good value and the kit is well put together.

pendant cords very difficult to shorten

There were no instructions included on how to shorten the cords and it took two hours to shorten the four pendants...a very frustrating task!

Do all 3 track pieces have to be used? The box in ceiling is 15" from wall. The track has to fit into an area 48" in length. Will this fit? A:This kit is a great item in that everything is included that you would need to create 10' of rail. In your case it may be less expensive to design a system with only the components you need. You can send me your requirements and I'll put a system together I would suggest you go to our shop by brand click on WAC and the rail. That will take you to the various pendantsd and directional fixtures that are available. Jess

If this system is installed on a slope ceiling using the slope standoffs and a slope piece for the transformer, will the pendants hang correctly. A:Yes the will hang strait down. Joshua
