This task light features a 30" horizontal swing arm that is designed to maneuver easily around desktop equipment. The 18-watt compact fluorescent lamp produces light output comparable to a 75-watt incandescent, but without the heat. A specular parabolic louver directs light downward to prevent glare and light "spill" onto the computer screen. A major advantage of louver light control versus the asymmetric method is the elimination of the direct glare that occurs when the lamp head reaches eye level.
