Pictures are deceiving.Came in a nondescript box with shoddy packaging. The metal parts are not well machined. It looks poorly built. The springs are too strong, so it does not stand right. I actually had to remove one spring and adjust the tension. The hardware (screws, nuts, bolts) is also of low quality, so the adjustments would not stay. The cable and switch are also cut-rate. The only part that looks OK is the shade. Overall, usatisfying. For this price, I have bought better looking lamps at Home Depot or Target. I had to tinker with it to actually be able to use it and avoid the hassle of returning it.
