I needed a good bedside reading lamp. This fit the bill perfectly. The name comfy eyes is no lie. I had some minor difficulty with assembly fitting the electrical cord inside of the pole but it wasn't serious enough to stop me from recommending this lamp to another.

The instructions did not help much in putting it together, especially where they say to remove the plate that has only one screw; the plate has three screws. other minor instruction problems. Otherwise a bright lamp, reasonably priced. I wish that the flexible section were an inch or two longer for greater flexibility but it's ok.

Bright reading/sewing light; flexible neck to focus light exactly where you need it; portable with long cord. This was my second Comfy Eyes Floor Lamp. First lamp at lighting store was $120.00; second lamp from George Kovacs website was $70.00 free shipping.... same lamp.

Had to shorten the cord to properly connect to the base.
