When I ordered the desk lamp I thought the lamp shade was completely white and the pull string was black and silver. To my surprise, when it arrived at my house, the rim of the lamp shade was yellow and the pull string was gold! It looked nothing like the picture and the shipment took forever.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
