Great lamp especially if you have a narrow shelf. The base is 5" x 10" and was a perfect fit. Would recommend if you are looking for a bronze desk lamp.

I like the lamp, although it is somewhat darker in color than I expected. The quality seems fine, and it looks good on my Governor Winthrop desk.
