Rare in this day & age - separate cold & hot faucets. they're still popular only in great britain, i believe. but i have an old sink that requires them, and almost all fixtures i've seen of this kind are too short, and one can hardly wash and rinse your entire hand, let alone two hands, under them. but this set is just perfect - and cartridge style, not compression, as well, for the best price around!!

Quality faucet, it was a good purchase. It was a hard type of faucet to find; I like the fact that it extends an extra inch out over many of the other options. The base mount could have had a second option where it could mount on a plate before the basin which would have worked better for my sink.
