I ordered this light and it was on backorder, then it came damaged, then we recieved a new one, and it still looked bumped around from the shipping process. I am a designer and I do not think any of this is acceptable. If you are looking for something upscale, do NOT order this one..the finish isn't really "chrome" it is a bad job of "painted-to-look-like-chrome". I love the sleek-contemporary design, but it really wasn't worth all the trouble I went through. Sorry!

Although made with some inexpensive chrome-plated plastic parts, the overall quality is good. And although not obvious in the pictures, the bottom fourth of the glass shades are clear (not frosted like the upper part). This adds a nice touch. One of the chrome plated plastic end plugs (piece that goes into the ends of the tubes to give it a finished look) was crushed, but the company immediatly sent me another.

Nice light, nice look.. there are a few flaws that are noticeable up close - fixture is not one piece, but a lot of pieces fit together which is why I didn't rate it so high on quality. Be careful when you start to install it - the screws to hold the fixture to the mounting bracket are too long, so my husband had to use a saw to cut them.
