This fixture can be mounted either pointing up or down but we mounted pointing up and it looks quite nice. It has a modern look. It doesn't come with light bulbs. We purchased short compact fluorescents but they had to have a short profile because the glass shades are not tall enough to cover tall bulbs. The glass shades are also very narrow and it is difficult to screw-on the holding nut and the light bulbs. You have to have very small hands and some patience to do this.

We just installed our new lights and love them. They look great and are exactly what we were expecting. Great value. Will shop with Lighting Universe when we need lights again.

I chose this bath light because the lights could be turned up or down and it was only 17" wide with 3 lights...hard to find. The light just looks great. I did have to buy smaller bulbs so that they didn't show out the bottom of the frosted glass, but that was the only hiccup. I highly recommend it. I chose 40 watt bulbs b/c 60 was too bright.

I'm loved this light so much I just ordered another for my other bathroom......
