It is very pretty. It's in a bath that's combination modern & arts & crafts & it looks good. We mounted it with glass downward. I thought I'd checked prior to purchase to see if it used medium-based bulbs; however, it uses smaller, candelabra-sized bulbs. It turned out okay because now there are a multitude of compact fluorescent lights & we easily found some at Lowe's. Delivery was delayed from manufacturer due to waiting for parts; however, I was notified when it was shipped & could track it by Fed-Ex, a little more delayed by July 4th holiday. But I'm happy.

This light fixture is beautiful. The glass is thick and has a very nice quality to it. Nice finish very accurate to photo.
