This escutcheon, which can be for real or for show, is a very handsome (and not small) piece. The lines are clean and the metalworking distinct, it is not some cheap stamped thing. I think this comes from their Oriental line (1015xxx), but it is so clean it works well with many of their other styles, also. Takes micro-tiny screws they supply to attach through the little round holes. Consider this as an accent even if you don't have a lock!
