These are substantial knobs. Very heavy and the visually weighted base adds to their balanced proportions versus most knobs which end in a small round foot. Bonus also is that the base will physically cover any previous holes or marks. I had trouble deciding between the nickel and stainless steel finish, but ended up going with the SS. So glad I did. I had bought one nickel finished knob locally. The SS is more true to a clean, true silver color, whereas the nickel finish has a slight yellow cast to it. Keep in mind that if you have pre-drilled holes, because of the width of these knobs, they may end up being too close together or even touch on a set of doors and you may need the smaller scale for this reason.

These knobs are an excellent value - as well made, heavy, and stylish as much more expensive knobs. I was very surprised and pleased at how good they look, and what a difference they made in my kitchen!

We are doing some cosmetic work on our master bathroom and this hardware is the icing on the cake!
