Installation was fairly straightforward. It took a bit of playing to get the fan not rubbing against the enclosure but once that was done I was left with no significant complaints. The fan is actually quiet and low profile for lower ceilings. Really this is pretty much the only fan we could have gotten and are not disappointed.

This is the ultimate in low profile fans for it's quiet operation. The only time you know it's on is if it's on high speed you can hear the wind!

This fan does not accept the STANDARD light kits that are available !

I haven't turned the fan off since I got it. It's so good looking and moves the air around to keep the entire room cool and can be reversed for winter. It is amazingly quiet which is very important to me.
