The quality of this fan is good. It went up without to much work. The fan is quiet and the light dims nicely. The only problem I had was getting the right remote with a receiver when ordering the fan. The information on line does not make it clear that the fan does not come with the receiver that you must have to use the remote. Apparently there are also certain remotes and receivers that only work with certain fans.
