The best words to describe this fan are whimsical and funky. We loved the retro/modern look and it is even better in person than in the featured picture. This fan is in our kitchen/breakfast room and it is the fan everyone notices and comments on - really beautiful. It works great and is relatively silent. We have an older home so this fit with the modern yet retro vibe we were going for - it is awesome :)

I had bought George Kovacs design before. I was not sure if this bling bling would be too bling. But it looks a bit funky w/o looking weird or cheesy. I got 24" for my small foyer area but a smaller size would have worked just fine.

This fan is very elegant. You can expect your guests to comment on how unique it is. Word of advice have a professional installer do the work. This fan has allot of different parts. An electrician that does not install theses types of fans will break it. This happened to me.

This will be my third purchase of this ceiling fan. I bought two for my modern, high-rise, downtown loft but recently moved. So, now I very much miss this fan and absolutely must purchase another (maybe two). This ceiling fan is very attractive, goes great with my modern furnishings, and circulates the air extremely well without any noise/buzzing. I received so many compliments about them in my last home.
