I ordered the Toasted Sienna and was really surprised with how dark it is in real life--the pictures are quite a bit lighter in real life, apparently to capture product detail. There are also rivet-looking dots around the blade brackets that didn't show up in the photo; in real life the overall effect is something that would suit a medieval garrison, fortress or dungeon. We may try to lighten it with some metal-friendly paints or washes, but the blades are also very dark on both sides, just different patterns. It is a high-quality fan, no doubt, but just not the effect I was striving for in my large galley kitchen.
