The chandelier was not tough to install and looks great in our dining room. On top of that, I had seen this item in a lighting store and saved around $100 by ordering online.

In spite of the instructions stating the canopy and finial nut "slip down the chain" to make wiring easier, they really only move down about an inch or so, which makes the wiring connections difficult unless one has very long supple fingers! It would be so easy if the center hole and finial nut were large enough to in fact slip down out of the way. Other than the difficulty in making wiring connections in limited space, this chandelier is a really attractive, well made fixture and I am very pleased with how it looks.

The chandelier is perfect for our Prairie Style home and we are quite pleased with our choice. I wish we had chosen the same one in a larger size for our foyer, although, the one we have is very nice as well.
