This chandelier is well made. The satin pewter finish is dull, not shiny. The chain is sturdy, and it is difficult to pry open a link.

It was described as satin pewter. It is much lighter in color, texture and weight, like aluminum. (The photo is not accurate.) The candle shades are bright white plastic. In the photograph it does look like something from Williamsburg. In person, it just looks like a mass-produced chandelier.
