I purchased this after returning another chandelier that was less in price and less in quality. Lesson learned b/c you definitely get what you pay for. I still think it is expensive, but I wasn't willing to have something cheap hanging from my ceiling. It's timeless and chic looking and very nicely contructed.

If you're looking for a classic and elegant lighting piece than this is the one. I looked for a while and this is exactly what I wanted. The shades are beautiful. It is well constructed and very easy to put together.
