nice light, but dark globes when unlit

We purchased this a few years ago in the bronze finish. My only complaint is that the globes are very dark when the light is not on--they actually look light brown. Am considering buying a set of globes that from one of the other finishes that appear to be lighter in color.

this is the second one we purchased

The style is timeless, this is the second light we ordered, one for our house in KC and one in VA. We have had so many compliments on the fixture.
