We're happy with this chandelier in our dining area. We used 60W rather that the 100W bulbs it calls for and it is still very bright. Recommend ceiling fan bulbs to reduce the visibility of the bulbs. A little tricky to get the globes level and the brass finish is very bright brass--more than you can tell from the photo.
While GREAT amount of light, without the dimmer switch the light would be really in your eyes when seated under the fixture.

We are using this in the eating area of our kitchen. It looks great. We like the "down" light, but do use it with a dimmer switch for eating. We had a candle type fixture before and this gives us a new look.

This was a replacement for a fixture that stopped working. All the descriptive details were accurate and helpful in making our choice. We use five 40 watt bulbs and find that gives very bright illumination. We like the downward directed light. The brass metal was our first choice and matches other elements in our decor.
