This chandelier is the perfect mix of traditional style with clean modern lines. I absolutely love it! Installation was fairly easy, just three standard wires to connect, and ta-da - done! The hardest part was removing our old fixture. I also recommend these modern drum-shaped clip shades to finish the look (Part #: 1776160). I read all the reviews before I purchased this and it had some chips in the paint that I had to cover with a permanant marker. I looked a little cheap. Another word of caution: don't buy two chandeliers to compare colors at home...simply because there is free shipping...I did this and the one I didn't want I had to pay $50 to ship it back.

This chandelier is large, simple, and works well in my "French Country" kitchen. The instructions were not accurate but I was able to figure out the best way to hang it and it's perfect.
