Designed for large, open spaces with high ceilings, Westinghouse industrial ceiling fans improve comfort year-round by circulating warm air trapped at the ceiling in the winter months and creating a cooling effect during the summer.

  • Downrod only mount, ½" x 12" downrod included.
  • ENERGY INFORMATION with fan at high speed:
    • Air flow: 6254 cubic feet per minute
    • Electrical usage: 60 watts (excludes lights)
    • Air flow efficiency: 104 cubic feet/minute/watt

WARNING:
Industrial ceiling fans are not recommended for use in any household applications. Severe injury can result if any part of the body comes in contact with the sharp metal blades of these fans. Because the industrial fans operate at higher speeds than traditional ceiling fans, they are required to be hung at least 10 feet above the floor.

We required a fan that was out of the "store-bought" look yet was very functional. We found it with this fan. This 'industrial' fan fits our high ceiling living room with grace and yet circulates the air without the wobble and noise associated with 'home improvement' fans. The assembly was very simple, instructions were readable and concise. I'd recommend this unit to anyone.

does what it's meant to do
The fan really kicks some air in our family woodworking shop. Only thing is, no matter how hard I try, it still wobbles alot. It also does not move as much air as some other similar fans. But the price is right, and it does as it says, so yes, I would buy another one.

How about for the outdoor porch?
A:It wouldn't work on outdoor porch. The propeller span is 56 inches.
