Fit and finish of this product aren't all that impressive. And, I realize at $250.00 I'm not getting a top shelf product, but there's a lot of veneer covered particle board in this piece. I'm a finish carpenter by trade, and despite taking my time I still managed to blow out a chunk of the desk top because of the particle board desk top. But, I had no choice but to keep it because I caused the damage. I'll end up making a new top--but, not out of particle board. Also,it seems to be a bit more orange that what it appears in the picture.
