This dinette set (Movado Table; Movado Velvet Parsons Chairs[4] and Movado Velvet Bench) looks very sharp and it is very nice. I saw it at a furniture store and everything looked good quality, sturdy and well built. the bench piece adds character to the whole set, and I felt in love with it the minute I saw it.

Unfortunately, the set was not in stock at the furniture store so they had to place a special order to Steve Silver (manufacturer). And 11 weeks after ordering, not only I am still waiting, but I have no delivery date as of yet.

This dinette set looks very sharp, the price/quality ratio is really outstanding, but the business side of the manufacturer is lacking. I was told by the furniture store I bought the set at, that Steve Silver has recently changed ownership. If you don't mind the wait, I highly recommend it. Have I known beforehand that 11 weeks later, and counting, I would still not even have a firm delivery date on it, I would definitely have looked elsewhere for my dinette set.

Once I finally received my table, chairs and bench - advertised to ship within a few days and delivered almost two months later - I learned that I did not have the upgraded delivery service to unbox and set up the items. 3 hours later I had all put together and it looks nice. The chairs are not as solid as I would like but the table and bench are very solid. The problem with it all was the delay after delay with my delivery and no one could give a good response. I must have called 10 times to find out what was going on and it was more of the same. The customer service people were all very nice but could not provide any good information as to why my product was taking so long to be delivered. Don't believe the information posted on your order online - at least for me it was a joke. With it all said and done - I will go somewhere else to make a purchase. Lastly, my ratings are not posted correctly, so don't believe what is shown - they default to average!
