Button deteriorated and fell apart in less than one year, and I've not found a source where I can buy the button itself-must buy the entire assembly. That makes it an expensive doorbell. If you are installing it in the desert, forget it. Ours is never in the direct sun, is shaded all day. Most buttons in this subdivision seem to have the same problem.
Nice doorbell unless you happen to have full sun on the door for more than a few hours. In that case, the plastic push button will degrade in under two years and break away. I have replaced mine twice...looking for a full metal, non-lighted replacement now.
Button would get stuck ultimately resulted in burning out my transformer and chime and had to replace both. My handyman says that he has seen this happen many times before.
