Caramel, Espresso and Mocha might sound like a decadent Starbucks order, but this season those are the hottest colors in home design. 

From the bedroom to the powder room, rich browns and light neutrals add warmth and elegance to any space.  “Brown is a really great base color for any room,” said Bud Wright, Allied Trade Group Design Associate.  “Whether it’s mixed with bold colors, neutral hues or just a crisp white, brown is the new black.” In the living room, brown can bring warmth and refinement. Darkened brown tones add coziness to studies, dens and libraries.  Kitchens, dining rooms, hallways and entryways all receive welcome warmth and lusciousness from a beautiful caramel or mocha.
