Nice looking fixtures and fairly easy to install on Type 2 fans (assuming you have some basic electrical wiring skills/tools). I used them to replace the original fixtures that had two candelabra bulbs (120W max). With this fixture and using 4 CFL bulbs, I now have roughly double the light output in all my rooms at half the electricity costs of the two incandescent candelabra bulbs.

Neither the manual nor the Hunter website indicated whether these would work on a Hunter Type 2 fan. I had to call Hunter tech support to find out they would work. Potential buyers with Type 2 fans should be aware that you must use CFL or LED bulbs so as not to exceed the light fixture wattage limitations built into the fan.

The only negative is that you have to buy the glass fixture separately.
