I was looking for something different in a ceiling fan and even though I could get cheaper attic fans, I could not get one like this. It was well worth the extra money and it is beautiful.

This was the only website where I could find this item. All stores had no rods shorter than 12".

Note that these are 1/2" diameter rods. Most good ceiling fan rods are 3/4" diameter. Very limited selection of colors.

Need shorter rods than 6" - 3" or 4" would be a good choice.

My electricians eventually had to take down the fan, cut the current rod, re-drill the required holes, and remount - at $80/hour.

Very difficult to return merchandise. Need RMA, must wait for shipping instructions, then return insured, then wait for refund. 6-8 weeks, and they charge a restocking fee.

Not a good experience, but does not have to be repeated.

Having purchased an outdoor ceiling fan a couple of years ago, we finally decided to install it. But wait, it took a special size down rod. Our local lighting store did not have it in stock, so I ordered it on line from Lighting Universe. It came on time as promised and was the right diameter. The fan is now installed and we are enjoying every minute of it!

WORKS JUST LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK.
