Expensive (price had gone up substantially when I purchased this lamp to match another bought 3 years ago), but the workmanship is excellent and the styling is simple but elegant. The base diameter is appropriate and given its heavy material, the fixture is quite stable for any home where you don't have out-of-control kids or pets. I chose the parchment shade and am pleased with the hue of light cast (using GE Reveal bulbs, 3-way). I am an avowed bargain-hunter but by the same token I appreciate quality and workmanship. This was quite a splurge for me but I wanted matching fixtures to add class to the simple decor of the living room (soft leather sofa, hardwood end tables, fireplace).

Very nice lamp - made well. However be careful about the lamp shade. I purchased the parchment one of medium value. The inside lining creates a bright white light that just isn't the warm light I wanted.

The forged leaves and vase floor lamp is a unique item that caught my eye.

I was able to match the floor lamp with a dining room fixture with a similar color scheme.

My motivation for purchasing this lamp was to buy quality goods made in the USA. I was NOT disappointed! The hand forged iron work is beautiful and the lamp is quite sturdy. Color choices for the shades and lamp were quite accurate from computer photos and match my living room perfectly. Overall, I am looking forward to ordered matching tabletop lamps in the near future.
