I bought the white glass with the brushed nickel pole and base. This lamp looks interesting unlit, but lit it is spectacular. However, I think the glass should be described as mosaic. Also, I would not put the yellow or red glass with the brushed nickel finish. It would make the lamp look cheap. (This is my opinion as a designer.) I also really like the on/off floor button. I did not know how it would be turned off and on until I received it and took it out of the box. I am very pleased with my purchase and my husband loves them (I bought 3). They are for a music studio where 60 somethings play rock and roll music, and due to sound proofing issues the only light in the room has to come from lamps. I chose floor lamps because there are no tables in the room for table lamps. These work well as they take up very little cubic space and illuminate well. They are well weighted in the base so there is not much chance of them being knocked over when the guys really rock out.

Quality is excellent, provides a lot of light while still being design and not taking a lot of space. Definitely recommend this lamp.

A very nice piece & easy to assemble. Simple & elegant. It would have been perfect if the bulb came with the lamp. Really dresses up a room! Contemplating on getting another one...
