I have had this lamp for about a year and it has worked well. All of a sudden the coating inside the lamp has broken apart and fallen off. Of coarse after a year I don't have the box to return it in. There is no replacement part.

I can finally read in bed with adequate lighting. Although this lamp IS more than adequate. The light shines right on my book. What an improvement over the table lamp on my night table. It was recommended by a friend whose husband absconded with it to use in his study. This lamp gives a great quality light.
