When installing this fixture, do you have to use tie down wire or can they be free standing, holding only by the drop ceiling metal frame? A:You will still need to use the wires to secure the lights to the ceiling and the clips as well. These fixtures are too heavy for the suspended ceiling to hold by it's self. Tina
