Perfect lighting for a hallway with a lower ceiling. The fixture has a very subtle footprint but casts a bright light. The hardware choices make this item very versatile.

Glad we purchased it, especially as it compliments our Asian style space.

Overall, this is a nice light. I bought the light because it holds 4 bulbs and I wanted to put compact fluorescents in it. I personally did not like the visible white metal mount above the glass. I spray painted the metal with chrome paint and it really dressed up the lights a lot. The glass does not completely enclose the fixture, there is an opening to let heat out between the white metal mount and the glass. If you have a very large room with low ceilings, you may slightly be able to see though the opening between the white metal mount and the glass. I also had to put four additional screws through the metal mounts to suck up the light to the ceiling.

Purchased this fixture for added lighting in my bedroom. Love the look. My electrician even commented on this one. Great for the price.
