Fixture was pretty simple to install, and is very bright. I used the max bulbs allowed and I am pretty sure NASA can see my room from the International Space Station. I think I am going to reduce the wattage of the bulbs a bit.

I purchased several of these fixtures and like them a lot for their low profile, clean lines, and great price. My house is craftsman/contemporary with Asian influences.I used smaller ones in a hallway/pantry area and larger ones in dining room, living room, and office. I spray-painted the metal parts black. I did not find them easy to install, however. I installed two of them and my electrician installed four of them and we both threw away the included brackets and improvised.

Wish the quality of this fixture matched the appearance on line. The mounts that hold the glass are cumbersome to operate and poorly made. Value is nice but I'd pay more for better quality!

Attractive minimalist design. When the light is turned off, you can see that the dome-shaped glass shade has a subtle pattern. When light is turned on, it makes a beautiful halo pattern of light and shadow on the ceiling above.

My only complaint is that the "stem" of the fixture - the cylindrical metal part that actually connects the lamp to the ceiling - looks like inexpensive white metal. The screws are visible on the 2 or 3 inches of vertical surface between the glass and the ceiling. The average viewer probably wouldn't notice, though.
