Nice antique brass finish - not too bright but not completely matte. It is hard to find this finish in stores. The frosted glass makes the light a little softer compared to some of the polished brass/clear glass fixtures. I looked all over stores for something similar and didn't find much. Installation can be a little tedious due to having to fit the base just right on the ceiling to line the screws up, but that is the case with any flush mount fixture. This is a nice fixture - simple but it still looks elegant and a good price. I would recommend it.
