Purchased 3 of these. Arrived on time and in good shape. Polished brass finish was clean, and wiring and light sockets were decent quality. Alabaster glass also very nice, although one unit had a very tiny black inclusion in the glass of some type of crud that once I noticed it, my OCD kicked in and demanded it be removed. Took a while with a sewing needle under a dissecting microscope, but got it out.

Only complaint was that it was more difficult than usual to get the fixture base to align with the threaded mounting bolts from the supplied ceiling-box mounting bracket, and then fasten it to the ceiling. The bolts are a bit short, and they give you these little spherical, smooth cap nuts, (and a couple of lock washers) to hold the base in place. The smooth cap nuts are just about impossible to hang on to, line up and turn, especially while you're trying to keep the fixture base up on the ceiling with one hand, with just a little of the threaded bolts showing through.

Changed our dim lit kitchen. This light easy to install yourself and gives out a lot of light. Very impressive.
