The Almeria family of light fixtures is richly ornamented by the addition of antique mirror, a detail dating from the late 17th century. First introduced on the backplates of wall sconces, mirrors not only doubled the light source but also exploited the play of flickering candle light. Today, mirror continues the tradition of adding decorative visual interest to the Almeria fixtures, complimented by the classical and always-popular leafy anthemion display on the expressive candle arms.
Colorful or uniquely patterned glass diffusers are typically hand made and, as such, will exhibit some variation in both color and pattern.
Such variations should be considered normal and indicative of hand crafting rather than machine production. |
