I was really pleased with the results of the PAR lights. I didn't know that most home builders cut costs by using the Outdoor Flood lights at the expense of your interior lighting. These replacement PARs are great. I put 26 of these in my kitchen and hall ways and they are significantly brighter. Also, I appreciated the tip about buying the higher voltage... gives a major extension on bulb life.

When I originally ordered my light fixture I was under the impression that it took a special bulb. This was due to the suggestion under the light ad for these bulbs. I reasoned that the socket of the light fixture might not be standard and these were the bulbs that were recommended. I was somewhat sticker shocked with their price. I ordered three of these rascals knowing the light fixture I ordered held two and I wanted a spare to give me time to order more if one failed.
The fixture showed up way in advance of the bulbs and I needed to get it mounted. I went to my local discount electrical store and found bulbs for one third the price of these with a 5,000 hour life. These only have 2,500. What a shock!
