This is a beautiful light. It goes very well in my kitchen over the island. I was concerned it might be too small, but it's perfect. The shades are white, not cream. The only issue I've had is finding light bulbs that don't hang below the shade. It looks kind of funny, but I'm sure there are some smaller light bulbs out there that will fit.
